My Husband and I visited Ocean Resort Casino this past weekend with another couple. I understand the whole verifying it is you thing but this was a little over the top considering it hadn’t even been 15 minutes since we checked out. The resort has to give you a new key and that’s how you can get back in. Oh and if you forget your car keys in your room as my husband did, go straight to front desk because the maids can’t let you in. When we checked out no one apologized, only when we mentioned the incident. Surely this didn’t need make us feel safe and we were left petrified. We didn’t know what was going on, my husband even left the room to see if there was anything going on outside. At one point it was a woman, at another point it was a guy and then at one point they left the system open and we could hear noise in the background. But nope the alarms went off again like five times and each time a person would come on to tell you that everything was okay.

We thought after the message everything was okay. My husband and I woke up petrified not knowing what was going on. Then a message followed saying there was nothing wrong or no emergency. Today at 6-6:30 AM the alarms start blaring. The casino was busy for a Sunday night and on Monday when we hit the Pool both indoor and outdoor (heated) there were a lot of families with kids. I asked about parking and it was a $5 fee however I was told every time I leave and come back during the day,we would have to pay the fee!!! Atrocious. The choices for dinner a re very limited on a Sunday and Monday so beware of that. We went up to our room on the 42nd floor.the view was absolutely breathtaking and the room was what they said would be in photos. Thank God! The person who checked us in was a little hostile and we didn’t feel as welcomed. The check in time is at 6:00 PM which is insane! We arrived at 5:30 and got into our room. Upon checking in there was a line of like 30 people in front of us. When we got there the resort on the outside is impressive and going in is also impressive.

For our twelfth wedding anniversary we decided to book a stay from Sunday to Tuesday at Ocean Resort.
